After completing her Bachelor of Fine Art (honours) in 2013 at the Queensland College of Art, Reynolds co-founded Outer Space Contemporary Art in Brisbane and was co-director from 2016 – 2019. Working across painting mediums, small sculpture and text, she is currently examining the socio-political and economic systems that are used to alienate. More broadly, her practice explores class through depictions of seemingly humiliating experiences by utilising humour, play, satire and confession. By observing unstable spaces of self-portraiture and performed vulnerability she aims to query the mythos and philosophical implications associated with failure and class. Subject matter includes mattress stains, failed relationships, grazed knees, unpaid bills and unwashed towels.
